Comment: A link between the UK Energy policy and Agriculture is definitely needed.  We are working on the potential to extract nanocellulose from Miscanthus (which besides many other uses in materials, is non toxic and could potentially be used as a carbohydrate replacement in foods).  The residual from the extraction process could be a viable fuel for providing energy to biomass burners.
